by High Diode(海德)Transient suppression is the role of High Diode's SMBJ6.0A, a TVS diode used to help protect circuitry from voltage spikes. The SMB package provides a two-terminal surface-mount component for the protection path. In the free KiCad download, its two-pin symbol is paired with the two-pad SMB_L4.6-W3.6-LS5.3-RD footprint and a 3D model. The model adds a package view for checking placement alongside surrounding board components. File verification consists of conversion and an editor check following a real ProtoFlow import.
