Be the fabengineers order from.
People design boards in ProtoFlow and then hit order without leaving the app. Today that goes to JLCPCB. We are opening that up, and we would rather build it with fabs than around them.
You meet the engineer when the board is finished.
A button where the work ends
Order on your fab sits in the export menu, right next to Gerbers. The engineer is done with the board and looking for somewhere to send it. That is the moment you show up.
Files you do not have to fix
Gerber X2 in metric with a .gbrjob job file, an Excellon drill file with plated and non-plated holes separated by tool function, oval holes emitted as routed slots, plus BOM and placement files for assembly.
Boards that already passed a check
ProtoFlow runs DRC and an export preflight before anything leaves the app. Unsupported geometry gets blocked, empty copper zones get flagged. Fewer of those emails where you ask the customer for a corrected file.
Results back inside the app
Your audit or quote response comes back into the editor, so the engineer fixes it in the design and re-sends instead of dropping the order and going somewhere else.
Four steps, and we have done it before.
Talk to us
Tell us your regions, capabilities, stackups, finishes, lead times, and whether you do assembly. We will tell you honestly whether our users are a fit for you.
Wire up the handoff
If you have a quote or upload API, we integrate against it. If you do not, a pre-filled cart URL works too. We have already done this once, so it is not a research project.
We map the board
Layer count, dimensions, drill sizes, finish and quantity are pulled straight from the design, so the order arrives with the parameters already set instead of guessed.
Engineers order
You appear as a destination in the export menu with your capabilities shown next to you. One click, board sent, audit result returned.
PCB fabs
Prototype and low-to-mid volume shops that want design-stage placement rather than another ad auction.
Assembly houses
Turnkey and consigned assembly. The BOM and placement files are already generated, so quoting is fast.
Regional shops
North America, EU and Asia. Engineers filter on where a board can actually ship from, and lead time matters as much as price.
Stencil and parts suppliers
Anything an engineer buys in the same hour they finish a layout is worth talking about.
You just get more places to send the board.
Nothing about your workflow changes. Finish the layout, hit order, pick a fab. Every partner we add shows up as another destination with the same one-click handoff and the same fab-ready output.
- Gerber X2 layers, metric, with a .gbrjob job file
- Excellon drill file, PTH and NPTH separated by tool function
- Oval holes emitted as routed slots
- BOM and placement (CPL) files for assembly
- DRC and export preflight run before the handoff

Let’s put your fab in the export menu.
Send us your capabilities and where you ship. If there is a fit, we will scope the integration and give you a straight answer on timing.
