Designed for transient suppression, the Littelfuse SMBJ15A is a surface-mount TVS diode used to protect exposed power or signal nodes from short overvoltage events. Its SMB package is suitable for protection stages that need a dedicated two-terminal clamping device. The downloadable library provides a 2-pin diode symbol together with the SMB_L4.6-W3.6-LS5.3-RD footprint, which carries 2 pads, plus an included 3D package model. Two ProtoFlow engineers have used this conversion in real designs, verifying the result through actual schematic and PCB work. The SMBJ15A entry is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
