Transient protection is the role of RUILON's SMBJ40CA, a bidirectional TVS diode used to suppress voltage spikes on exposed power and signal connections. The bidirectional configuration suits protection points where excursions can occur in either polarity. Its SMB surface-mount body provides a two-terminal board connection.
