IRFZ44N is an N-channel power MOSFET used for switching loads and controlling power paths in applications such as motor drivers, converters, and discrete output stages. The through-hole TO-220 form supports conventional PCB assembly and provides a familiar package for prototyping or serviceable designs. Included files pair a 3-pin KiCad symbol with the TO-220-3_L9.9-W4.5-P2.54-L footprint, which has three pads, plus a 3D model for checking placement and enclosure clearance. In real designs, 4 ProtoFlow engineers have already used this converted entry after its import and editor verification. The symbol, footprint, and model can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
