AC load switching and phase-control circuits are common uses for the BT136-600E triac. This minos part uses a three-lead, through-hole TO-220 package, giving the PCB layout a different mounting arrangement from a surface-mount switch. As a triac, it supports controlled conduction in both directions for AC applications. The free KiCad files include a three-pin symbol, the three-pad TO-220-3_L10.0-W4.5-P2.54-L footprint, and a 3D model for checking placement in the assembly.
