Designed for straightforward rail regulation, the CJ78L05 is a three-terminal linear regulator in a surface-mount SOT-89-3 package. It suits compact power sections that need a regulated fixed output with minimal external complexity. The KiCad bundle supplies a 3-pin schematic symbol together with the 3-pad SOT-89-3_L4.5-W2.5-P1.50-LS4.2-BR land pattern. A fitted 3D model is included so enclosure and neighboring-component clearance can be inspected in the board view.
