MDD's SMAJ13CA is a bidirectional transient-voltage-suppression diode used to protect a circuit from voltage transients. It is a two-terminal surface-mount part in an SMA-style package, so its board placement uses two pads. The KiCad download pairs a two-pin schematic symbol with the SMA_L4.4-W2.6-LS5.0-BI footprint and includes a 3D model to inspect the assembly view.
