SS210

The MDD SS210 is a Schottky diode used where a circuit needs current to pass primarily in one direction, such as a rectification or protection path. It is an SMD part in an SMA footprint, so polarity and pad orientation matter when placing it on a PCB. The free KiCad download provides a 2-pin diode symbol, the 2-pad footprint SMA_L4.3-W2.6-LS5.2-RD, and a 3D model. Its conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs.
