by CJ(江苏长电/长晶)ESDBM24VD3 from CJ is an ESD protection diode for circuits exposed to electrostatic discharge, including connections that reach outside a PCB assembly. The device uses a two-terminal SOD-323 surface-mount package. Included in the free KiCad download are a two-pin schematic symbol, the two-pad SOD-323_L1.7-W1.3-LS2.6-BI footprint, and a 3D model. The model lets the diode be viewed alongside connectors and other nearby components when reviewing placement. Verification consisted of converting a real ProtoFlow import and checking the resulting files in the editor. The diode entry opens directly in ProtoFlow for use in the schematic and board.
