Through-hole rectifier layouts can use the MDD 1N4007 Tube, a general-purpose diode from the familiar 1N4007 family. Typical roles include rectifying power and providing reverse-polarity protection where the circuit suits a conventional rectifier. The axial DO-41 package places a lead at each end of the body. For KiCad, the download supplies a 2-pin symbol, the 2-pad footprint DO-41_BD2.4-L4.7-P8.70-D0.9-RD, and an included 3D model.
