This version uses a three-lead through-hole TO-220 package, making pin placement and the board footprint relevant to the power section's layout. Its KiCad download pairs a three-pin schematic symbol with the three-pad TO-220-3_L10.0-W4.5-P2.54-T footprint and includes a 3D model. A real ProtoFlow import supplied the files; the conversion was then checked in the editor. The regulator can also be opened directly in ProtoFlow to place it in a project.
