IC-14P
by BOOMELE(博穆精密)BOOMELE’s IC-14P is a 14-position IC socket for mounting a compatible DIP device without soldering the device itself to the board. The socket is through-hole, and its converted symbol has 14 pins corresponding to 14 pads. Included in the free KiCad files are that symbol, the DIP-14_L17.8-W10.2-P2.54-BL footprint, and a 3D model for reviewing the socket in the assembly. When laying out the board, treat the socket as the fitted component and account for the space it occupies. The conversion has been used by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. You can open it directly in ProtoFlow.
