KiCad "More than one name given to this bus or net"
KiCad electrical rule check (schematic) message: More than one name given to this bus or net (multiple_net_names in kicad-cli reports).
What it means
Two different labels or power symbols sit on the same net, for example "3V3" and "VCC". KiCad keeps only one name for the netlist, so the other name silently disappears and anything that relies on it (net classes, the PCB, simulation) can go wrong. Keep one name per net.
Common causes
- Two power symbols with different names connected together.
- A local label and a global label with different names on one wire.
- Copy-pasted blocks that brought their own labels.
How to fix it
- Delete or rename one of the labels.
- If two rails really are the same, use a single power symbol name across the design.
