The WCH CH340T is a USB-to-serial interface IC used to add a USB connection to equipment that communicates over an asynchronous serial link. Its 20-pin symbol exposes the device connections for schematic capture, and the accompanying 20-pad SSOP-20_L7.5-W5.2-P0.65-LS8.0-BL footprint maps them to the specified SMD package. The free KiCad download also supplies a 3D model, useful for visual assembly inspection and clearance planning. After import, this conversion was checked through editor work and has been used by 4 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. CH340T can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
