Battery-powered products can use Texas Instruments’ BQ24070RHLR to coordinate battery charging with delivery of power to the system load. It is a power-management IC in an exposed-pad QFN format, with the extra pad reflected in the library mapping. A 21-pin symbol, the QFN-20_L4.7-W3.7-P0.50-BL-EP footprint with 21 pads, and a matching 3D model are provided in the free KiCad download. The conversion has been used by 6 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs, putting its imported pin assignments and package geometry through practical editor use.
