TYPE-A-AF90
by JXTCONN(聚兴泰)USB connector placement involves both the schematic interface and the physical board attachment. JXTCONN's TYPE-A-AF90 is a through-hole USB-A connector for bringing a USB connection onto a PCB. Its imported symbol has six pins, whereas the USB-A-TH_U-A-24DD-Y-13 footprint contains eight pads; the download retains both representations without assuming a one-to-one count. Free KiCad files also include a 3D model, useful for viewing the connector in relation to the board and enclosure. In real designs, 2 ProtoFlow engineers have used this conversion. The TYPE-A-AF90 library entry can be opened directly in ProtoFlow for inspection and placement.
