Adding removable storage requires a card connector such as the SOFNG TF-009 microSD socket. This surface-mount connector has nine pins in its schematic symbol, while its PCB footprint contains 15 pads. Keep that distinction in view when placing the socket: the footprint's pad count exceeds the symbol's connection count. The free KiCad files include the symbol, footprint TF-SMD_TF-009, and a 3D model for viewing the socket within the board assembly. They originate from a real ProtoFlow import whose conversion was checked in the editor. The TF-009 socket is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
