Removable storage connections need room for both the socket and card access. The SOFNG TF-15×15 is a TF card socket for boards that use microSD storage, such as data loggers and embedded equipment. Its library entry contains a 13-pin symbol and the TF-SMD_TF-15-15 footprint with 15 pads; the mounting is recorded as mixed. The free KiCad package also includes a 3D model, useful when reviewing the socket's position within a board assembly. In real designs, 3 ProtoFlow engineers have used this conversion. The socket library entry is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
