A removable microSD card needs a socket with both electrical connections and a secure board attachment. The CUI MSD-4-A serves that role; its recorded TF-SMD_MSD-4-A footprint has fifteen pads, while the schematic symbol has thirteen pins. That difference matters when reviewing the footprint, since not every physical pad corresponds to a separate symbol pin. The free KiCad download includes the thirteen-pin symbol, the fifteen-pad footprint, and a 3D model for inspecting the socket's position on the PCB. The conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs. It can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
