by HEL(鸿志)Inrush limiting is the usual role of the 5D-9 NTC thermistor from HEL. Placed in a power input path, an NTC thermistor provides resistance when cold and becomes less resistive as it warms, helping manage startup current into downstream circuitry. This record provides a through-hole implementation with two electrical connections. For KiCad, the download contains a two-pin schematic symbol, the RES-TH_L11.0-W5.5-P7.50-D0.8-S5.50 footprint with two pads, and an included 3D model to inspect placement in the board view. Its source is a real ProtoFlow import, converted and checked in the editor. The complete part can also be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
