A varistor’s voltage-dependent resistance makes it useful for limiting voltage excursions in protection circuits. This through-hole entry has two symbol pins and two footprint pads, with the physical layout stored as RES-TH_L12.5-W5.4-P7.50-D0.8-S2.40. The free downloadable KiCad set combines that footprint with its schematic symbol and an included 3D model. Its conversion originated in a real ProtoFlow import and was checked in the editor.
