20D431K
by HEL(鸿志)
Surge-suppression circuits use varistors for their nonlinear resistance, which allows them to clamp transient voltages. HEL's 20D431K is a through-hole varistor with two leads, suited to this protective role in power-input circuitry. The supplied library represents it with a two-pin symbol and the RES-TH_L23.0-W5.7-P10.00-D1.0-S5.70 footprint containing two pads. A 3D model is also included in the free KiCad download, allowing the body to be viewed alongside neighboring components. Verification consists of conversion from a real ProtoFlow import and a check in the editor. This varistor is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
