Pay attention to the symbol and footprint counts when laying out HOOYA's DC-036-2.0: this DC power jack has three symbol pins but four footprint pads. The through-hole connector serves as an external DC supply entry for a PCB. The free download supplies the KiCad symbol, the exact DC-IN-TH_DC-036 footprint, and a 3D model for reviewing its placement in the assembly. A real ProtoFlow import supplied the source files; the resulting conversion was checked in the editor. Review the pad mapping and mechanical fit before routing the connector.
