Audio connections at the enclosure need both electrical mapping and mechanical placement to be clear. HOOYA's PJ-612 is a through-hole audio jack for bringing an audio plug connection onto a PCB. The included 3D model supports examination of the jack's placement, while the AUDIO-TH_PJ-612 footprint provides five pads. A five-pin KiCad symbol completes the free download. Check the individual pin functions against the intended audio circuit when assigning nets to the jack. Converted from a ProtoFlow import, these files have been used by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. The PJ-612 entry opens directly in ProtoFlow.
