Reed relays use a coil to operate contacts, keeping the control and switched paths electrically separate. This record supplies a through-hole implementation with eight symbol pins and eight pads in the RELAY-TH_HE721A0500 footprint. The footprint name is retained exactly as imported, even though it differs from the device part number. The free KiCad download includes that symbol and footprint plus a 3D model.
