A dedicated probe connection makes board measurements easier during bring-up and servicing. Keystone 5002 is a through-hole test point for exposing a circuit node to test equipment, providing a deliberate access location in the PCB layout. The KiCad download represents that connection with a 1-pin symbol and the 1-pad TEST-TH_BD2.54-P1.39 footprint. An included 3D model also places the test point in the board's assembly view, where access around neighboring parts can be considered. The converted library assets have been used by 4 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. Keystone 5002 can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
