The KiCad download pairs a 9-pin schematic symbol with the 9-pad DFN-8_L3.0-W2.0-P0.50-TL-EP-1 footprint and includes a 3D model. The footprint name identifies the exposed-pad variant, which matters when matching the board land pattern to the chosen package. The symbol and footprint are provided together so the sensor can be placed in a schematic and carried into layout. These files originate from a real ProtoFlow import that was converted and checked in the editor. They can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
