EL817

An LED and a phototransistor form the optical signal path inside Everlight's EL817. It transfers a signal across an electrical isolation boundary, making it useful for isolated inputs and power-supply feedback circuits. The through-hole DIP-4 package provides separate connections for the input LED and output transistor. For KiCad, the free library download supplies a four-pin symbol and the DIP-4_L4.6-W6.5-P2.54-LS7.6-BL footprint with four pads, together with a 3D model. File provenance is a real ProtoFlow import that was converted and checked in the editor. You can open the EL817 directly in ProtoFlow to incorporate it into an isolation circuit.
