For circuits that need optical signal isolation, the Cosmo KP12100E provides an optocoupler in a through-hole DIP-4 package. This part family transfers a signal through light, making it useful at interfaces between electrically separated circuit sections. A real ProtoFlow import supplied these files; the conversion was checked in the editor. The downloadable KiCad resources include a four-pin schematic symbol and the DIP-4_L4.6-W6.5-P2.54-LS7.6-BL footprint with four pads. A 3D model is also included for viewing the package alongside neighboring board components. The KP12100E can be opened directly in ProtoFlow for schematic and PCB work.
