431KD14

by Brightking(君耀电子)

Surge protection circuits use varistors to limit transient voltage excursions. Brightking's 431KD14 is a through-hole varistor with two terminals, represented by a two-pin symbol in this library entry. The accompanying free KiCad files provide the RES-TH_L16.5-W5.6-P7.50-D0.8-S3.00 footprint with two pads and an included 3D model. The board footprint captures the mounting arrangement, and the model makes the component body visible when reviewing placement around other protection and power input components. These downloadable assets came from a real ProtoFlow import that was converted and checked in the editor. This varistor is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
