PAD
PAD is a generic one-pin PCB contact definition for bringing a single net to a larger physical land pattern. It can serve board-level connection, probing, or custom contact needs when the designer has confirmed the geometry against the intended hardware. The library package includes a one-pin symbol, the five-pad SMD_BD4.0-L4.0-W4.0-D1.0 footprint, and a 3D model. Although the logical part has one connection, the footprint carries five pads, so net assignment and fabrication output should be reviewed for the specific use. This conversion has been used by 4 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. PAD can be opened directly in ProtoFlow for inspection or reuse.
