Nexperia’s PESD5V0S1BB,115 is an ESD protection diode for a signal connection that may see an electrostatic discharge. In the schematic, its two terminals make the protection connection explicit; on the PCB, the small SOD-523 land pattern lets the device be placed near the connection being protected. The downloadable KiCad package supplies a 2-pin symbol, the SOD-523_L1.2-W0.8-LS1.6-BI footprint with 2 pads, and a 3D model. Review the diode orientation and intended circuit connection when assigning nets, using the device documentation for electrical limits.
