Bosch’s BNO055 combines inertial sensing and onboard sensor fusion in a single surface-mount device, allowing embedded systems to obtain processed orientation information without assembling a separate fusion stack from discrete sensors. It is frequently suited to robotics, human-interface devices, stabilization, and motion-aware prototypes. The available KiCad files comprise a 28-pin symbol, the 28-pad LGA-28_L5.2-W3.8-P0.50-BL footprint, and a package 3D model for visual and mechanical checks.
