BMA400

Motion sensing with the Bosch BMA400 starts with a compact, surface-mount accelerometer. It is used on boards that need acceleration measurements for movement or orientation-related functions. The LGA-12 package has 12 connections, so the downloaded KiCad set pairs a 12-pin schematic symbol with the 12-pad LGA-12_L2.0-W2.0-P0.50-BL footprint. A 3D model is included for viewing the component on the assembled board. This conversion has seen real-design use by 1 ProtoFlow engineer, which provides verification beyond the source part record.
