As a two-terminal SMD component, it fits into a signal or supply path without the extra connections of a filter network. The downloadable KiCad set consists of a two-pin symbol, the two-pad L0603 footprint, and a 3D model. Its 0603 land pattern should be checked against nearby routing and the intended placement on the board. The conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs. The bead can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
