Littelfuse RUEF110 brings resettable PTC overcurrent protection to a through-hole board assembly. Its radial-leaded form is useful when a protection component needs to be installed through the PCB rather than on surface pads. In operation, fault heating raises the device's resistance; recovery depends on removing the fault and allowing it to cool. The free KiCad download contains a two-pin symbol, the FUSE-TH_L7.0-W3.1-P5.08-D1.2 footprint with two pads and an included 3D model. This conversion has been used by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. The through-hole fuse is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
