A mechanical contact input can use the OMRON D2FC-F-7N microswitch to detect an actuator press or release. This is a through-hole part with three symbol pins and three footprint pads, so the board layout must provide for its full connection pattern. The downloadable KiCad package includes the symbol, the SW-TH_3P-L12.8-W5.8-P5.08_DM3CQF1004L04 footprint, and a 3D model for checking physical placement.
