The OMRON B3S-1000 is a surface-mount tactile switch for a physical button input, such as a control or reset action. Its KiCad download contains a four-pin symbol, the four-pad KEY-SMD_4P-L6.6-W6.0-P4.50-LS9.0-BR footprint, and a 3D model. The footprint provides the board placement for the switch, while the model helps show its position among nearby components. This conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs. During schematic work, account for how the switch contacts connect when pressed, then place the footprint where the button can be reached. The part can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
