ST's MJE340 is an NPN bipolar transistor used as a discrete switch or gain stage. This record uses a through-hole SOT-32 package, so its lead arrangement should be checked against the intended circuit before routing the board. The free KiCad files contain a three-pin transistor symbol and SOT-32_L7.6-W2.7-P2.15-L, a footprint with three pads. A 3D model is included to show the device in the assembled board view. The symbol and footprint were converted from a real ProtoFlow import and checked in the editor. MJE340 is also available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
