The Schottky device family is commonly chosen where forward conduction loss and switching behavior matter. This version uses a surface-mount SOD-123 package, so anode and cathode orientation deserve attention during placement. The downloadable library includes its two-pin schematic symbol, the SOD-123_L2.8-W1.8-LS3.7-RD footprint with two pads, and a 3D model.
