An I2C host can communicate with 1-Wire peripherals through the ADI/Maxim DS2482S-100 bridge. The device handles the interface between these buses, making it useful when connecting 1-Wire sensors or identification devices to a controller with I2C support. For this SOIC-8 record, the free KiCad download includes an 8-pin schematic symbol, the 8-pad SOIC-8_L4.9-W3.9-P1.27-LS6.0-BL surface-mount footprint, and a 3D model. Conversion and checking took place in the editor using a real ProtoFlow import as the source. The bridge can also be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
