Bourns MF-MSMF030-2 is a surface-mount resettable PTC fuse used for circuit overcurrent protection. It is placed in a current path so that the protective component is represented in both the schematic and PCB layout. The downloadable files include a two-pin KiCad symbol, a two-pad F1812 footprint, and a 3D model. That footprint identifies the 1812-style board land pattern supplied with this import; no electrical rating should be inferred from the footprint name alone. The conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs. MF-MSMF030-2 can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
