LITEON's MOC3021 is an optotriac driver used to pass a switching command across an optical isolation barrier to a triac circuit. This version uses a through-hole DIP-6 package, so the board layout needs six drilled pad positions. The free KiCad files include a six-pin schematic symbol, the six-pad DIP-6_L8.5-W6.4-P2.54-LS7.6-BL footprint, and a 3D model. Those files let the isolation device be placed in both the schematic and PCB with the recorded package geometry. The conversion has been used by 1 ProtoFlow engineer in real designs.
