BAV99
by SHIKUES(时科)
Two series-connected switching diodes share a SOT-23 body in the Shikues BAV99. The accessible junction between them allows the device to serve in signal steering, clamping, and other small-signal diode networks. Its three-terminal arrangement is the key distinction to account for when connecting the symbol and routing the PCB. The downloadable KiCad assets are free and include a 3-pin symbol, a SOT-23_L2.9-W1.3-P1.90-LS2.4-BR footprint with 3 pads, and a 3D model of the package. In support of verification, 1 ProtoFlow engineer has used the conversion in real designs. The BAV99 is available to open directly in ProtoFlow.
