For sensing magnetic fields without mechanical contact, Honeywell's SS49E provides a linear Hall-effect output. It is useful in magnet-based position sensing and other circuits that measure field changes rather than simply detect a switch threshold. This record uses a through-hole TO-92S package, represented by the TO-92S_3P-L4.1-W1.6-P1.27-L footprint. The free KiCad files pair that 3-pad footprint with a 3-pin symbol and a 3D model for viewing the sensor on the board. A real ProtoFlow import was converted into these files and checked in the editor. The complete part can be opened directly in ProtoFlow.
