BPW34
by VISHAY(威世)
The BPW34 from Vishay is a two-lead PIN photodiode for detecting light in sensing and measurement circuits. Designers commonly use this type of device as the optical input to monitoring, interruption, counting, or feedback circuitry, with the surrounding analog stage converting its response into a usable signal. This download supplies a 2-pin KiCad symbol, the SENSOR-TH_BPW34 footprint with 2 through-hole pads, and a 3D model of the package. The conversion is verified through use by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs. BPW34 can also be opened directly in ProtoFlow for schematic and PCB work.
