TSOP4838
by VISHAY(威世)
Vishay’s TSOP4838 is a through-hole infrared receiver module commonly used to accept remote-control signals and present a conditioned output to digital circuitry. Its three-pin arrangement keeps the interface compact for appliances, instruments, and controller boards that need an IR command input. The free KiCad files pair a 3-pin symbol with the SENSOR-TH_TSOP4X footprint and its 3 pads; a 3D model is included for checking orientation and mechanical fit. Use by 2 ProtoFlow engineers in real designs has validated the converted import in practical work. The receiver can be opened directly in ProtoFlow for immediate schematic and layout use.
