Ferrite beads are commonly placed in series with supply connections as part of an EMI filtering arrangement. This part uses the L0402 footprint, with two pads corresponding to its two-pin schematic symbol. Both KiCad representations are included in the download, together with a 3D model for viewing the component on the assembled PCB.
