TI’s TL072CP is a dual operational amplifier commonly placed in analog signal circuits. The two amplifier channels share a through-hole DIP-8 package, so the package mapping matters when bringing the device into a schematic and PCB layout. The downloadable KiCad files provide an 8-pin symbol and the DIP-8_L9.6-W6.4-P2.54-LS7.6-BL-1 footprint with 8 pads. An included 3D model lets you view the package during board placement.
